A short film with no dialogue I directed and filmed alongside DoP James Miller and second cameraman Rachel Knights which tells the story of a woman fed up with her job breaks out of London to go scatter the ashes of her recently departed mother – revisiting some of their favourite places on the journey. The film was created to demonstrate the technical merits of High Dynamic Range HDR video which had just been launched in the GH camera at the time.
This is still one of the biggest films produced for LUMIX audiences and was very well received.
The film stars Súhannah Georgeanne as ‘Isobel’ and Eliza Skelton as ‘Mother’. Production crew from Brighton BFS.
